Saying "violence is never the answer" is such a lazy stance...I'm disappointed to see Roland Martin tweeting this...9 times out of 10 when I hear this its from someone with strong ties to the slavery mentality of the Christian church..

Whenever I hear "violence is not the answer" my first thought is "What is the question?"

Whenever I hear "violence never accomplishes anything" my first thought is "It accomplished and maintains the American empire and white supremacy"

Lets try not to get caught up in regurgitating these platitudes without really thinking about what they mean and who is giving them to us...

Almost every significant event in history was put into action due to violence, yet these clowns always spouting off "violence is not the way" when it comes to these whites. As long as blacks can be mistreated in this country without significant repercussions then we will always be looked upon as nothing but trash.

I agree with some of what you're saying but this part here is bullsh1t..His memory will only be "tainted" in the eyes of those who never respected him or people that looked like him anyway..

I am just catching up and seeing that there was violence and outbursts over the shooting
I support their reaction 100%
and I don't burden my brothers and sisters (of any color mind you) to find sane solutions while living and grieving through impossibly insane problems that they did not create.
