The game is so different now curious how his music would sound
This thread made me go & listen to his albums after the 1st joint. What immediately stood out is the music was less up beat & more introspective. I can see why it didn’t catch on.

With that said I like what I heard & the game is in a different zone now. He could easily fit in that Rod Wave lane. If his melody/hook game on point he’ll be straight

He might fit right in perfectly.

His album was surprisingly fire.
I thought the same too, I listened to it on a whim when it came out and I came away with several songs I messed with. The other day I actually played several songs from his debut and two Monty albums and there were quite a few bangers on those as well.

What’s crazy is I’ve never heard a Fetty Wap song that wasn’t one of the hits they played all the time. I don’t know what an Fetty Wap “album cut” sounds like. Will have to go back and play just to see now.
