Truth be told, The Arcade is a bunch of console gamers, FFXIV is a lot easier to play on a PC than a console.
Elder Scrolls Online was probably the wave for a Coli guild, not FFXIV since it also has the subscription too.

All it took was Asmongold leaving WoW for the house of cards to fall. It's crazy that is what it took, because FFXIV and ESO have BEEN better games than WoW for YEARS now.

I was lead to believe WoW has kind of been in a free fall in terms of player retention for years. I think the streamer dude leaving was more of a result of that rather than the catalyst. WoW is old af already and FF14 seemed to hit its stride with content.
Wow just needs a solid expansion with compelling content and quality of life upgrades
