in all fairness back in 2006 the game was likely just a CGI sequence.

Nobody cares. Even if that was the case, they could have had this game out by now but we had to deal with those Lightning games for an entire gen. Stop announcing games so early if you dont want high expectations that lead to disappointment and frustration by fans.
