Anybody know of an option to play this without buying an OG Xbox?

Really having the itch to play right now, and from what I can tell there aren't any working Xbox emulators.

I know they did an HD remake of the original, but the sequel is so much better, I don't want to taint my nostalgia by going back to play the lesser of the two games.

Any help would be appreciated

Nah future was better in every way. Had all the good from the original plus so much more.

I'm really thinking about getting an Xbox with this and shenmue 2. :noah:[DOUBLEPOST=1397576106][/DOUBLEPOST]
Future was the shyt, that soundtrack :noah:

If you don't wanna play it on the OG Xbox, it's backwards compatible on the Xbox 360

I didn't know this, but I already got rid of my 360 too :sadbron:

Umm, do you not see people saying to play it on the 360??

Edit:NVM. getting rid of your 360. Now if Xbox was doing something like Playstation now you wouldn't have this problem :youngsabo:.

Soundtracks to this is so piff. Someone is doing a game on PC.

This game called Hover on PC looks like a spiritual current gen JSRF

Bonus is that Hideki Naganuma, composer of Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future is going to do the soundtrack for this.

I saw this, it's what's making me want to go back and play jsrf.

The gameplay looks good but the artstyle is a real turn off. I liked the urban/hiphop look of jsrf.

Future didn't have time limits, and the police wasn't constantly on your ass like they was in the original
They also simplified the controls, took out manuals.
I really enjoyed the original, remember not even liking pt.2 after a few plays
I can't even remember pt.2 right now. Just little parts, but nothing that really sticks out
Part 1, the entire game is a masterpiece imo.

I felt the original JSR was better. I remember picking up Future and the spray painting was just too easy or some sh!t like that. Threw that trash in the bushes.

Just gonna have to disagree with y'all. Being able to explore opened the game up a great deal, the open world nature of the second game was an improvement IMO

I felt like they took a step forward then two steps backward. The thrill of the chase is what made the first game a challenge. Having to run from cops. Having this big ass mural to paint but then having to break it off mid spray because cops, or hitmen, or electro shock guys, or arabians with whips were on your ass. That made it more fun. Having to get the combo right in order to successfully paint while all of that stuff was happening made it feel like the situation was dire. Running up to a wall and hitting the spray button and producing a full tag sunk my heart. I was the biggest JSR fan too. That hurt my soul. I will say this....I can understand how somebody would like Future. You had more tricks and a larger more open world. But more isn't always better and I would just wrather play JSR if I had to choose from the two. I bougt JSR for the Xbox and my PC. Thats how much I love it. I'd like to see them make another one. It's been too long.

It's been a long time but I remember JSRF still being very challenging and I remember it being just as tense as the first one. They did change the tagging, which was a step back IMO, but everything else was better.
