Yeah you can change it. Just before you start the match (play match screen) go to the settings and you can change it there.

What brehs can't defend without contain???? I've found this years edition easier to do so cuz your defenders don't get stuck running on trash lines.

yeah there is no setting option for this that I see there. Nothing to change it from say semi-pro to pro level.
