I can not do this fukking stand up minigame to save my life. If I'm dropped a second time I'm done for.

I'm trying to do the patient route but my blocking isn't doing shyt for me. I thing I'm doing a great job on D and then after the fight shows I'm hit 50% of the time. I don't get it.

You have to side step, that's the only way to truly avoid. Stay away and then lead with straight haymaker to the gut if you are dealing with a and bloking wasn't piking off shyt.body spammer. That usually gets them to stay back, but some are persistent because that's all they have.

If you face someone who keeps catching you just conserve your energy till at least the 5th-6th round. They will tire out and then crush them.

Pay attention to how the top fighters block. You notice they keep taking their finger off the block for a split second to put them right back up.

Also, when dealing with a body spammer it is actually better to move forward to block body punches if you don't have your side step game on point. That's something I have always struggled with. 234 punches in a round and a half should get anyone tired. My bet his stamina was already down to the 70s

Isn't that mode essentially pay to win? You can buy points to raise your stats.

So if dude is on some Terminator shyt, punching through your guard the entire fight... Then yeah.

well i'll be damned. the sad part is that I still have this game (the gc version with super punch out). I must've somehow got it mixed up with kk03...my bad. almost 15 years. shows you what I know. to the guy above, I actually loved this game, but I haven't played champion to see the evolution.

It's hard out there breh the top ranked fighters have been targeting me. I have been taking L's from cats who have 10K+ wins and shyt.

Straight murdering me in there. Last guy I fought had like 11K wins and my connect percentage was 28%. By far the lowest I have ever landed

The feedback I get is that my defense is pretty good where it is at since they can't knock me out unless its a flash ko, but still have a lot of room to grow.
