Also I noticed a lot of things cats are complaining about in here was done purposely as an ode to the blaxploitation era, series was flawlessly executed imo :manny:. I don't even rock with Kevin Hart like that and thought he did a good job in this, he seems to do good when paired with an elite talent to hide his flaws. This series and his movie with Wesley Snipes for example was better than all of that bullshyt he put out with the Rock and etc

After the first 3 episodes this wasn't as good to me but I still fukked with it. And I will continue to support these shows if they entertain me cause for far to long a show like this for US wouldn't have made it to the small screen.

There was a definite shift after the robbery. It did become a buddy cop vs the gangsters show. The ending and a little research about the real situation brought some clarity to why they did that. The show is based off of the accounts of the Cheadles character. I was surprised at how many of the characters were based on real people.

I liked it. Not perfect, but entertaining. Great performances all around. Bout time we got a bunch of our heavyweights in some shyt. We need more. Respect to Kev, as he has said he is actively trying to give us shyt like this.
