I disagree ben is what the bulls need to this day a scorer with range who can create and gordon was routinely droppin 21-40 points.Deng is replaceable ben hasn't been replaced yet

Kerr, an NBA analyst for TNT, was posed the question by broadcaster partner Marv Albert during Monday's telecast of Game 5 between the Bulls and Nets and made it clear that he no longer can justify watching Rose -- who suffered a torn left ACL a little more than a year ago -- sit on the bench while his banged-up teammate play on.

"I know I’ve kind of changed my mind,” Kerr said. “I've really supported the Bulls and Derrick with the way they’ve handled it. I think you err on the side of caution. But I think where the Bulls are now with this series with Kirk Hinrich struggling with the calf injury -- if Derrick is OK and there’s no threat to further injury, I think he's got to play. He has to put himself out there for 15-20 minutes.

"Look at what (Joakim) Noah and (Kirk) Hinrich are putting themselves through with their injuries," said Kerr, who played a key role for the Michael Jordan-led Bulls during their second three-peat. I think it’s time for Derrick ... maybe he owes it to his teammates, I guess that’s what I’m saying."

until dude comes out and announces that he's done for the season, then he should definitely be questioned. this all could have easily been deaded months ago.

the bulls and rose have handled this situation as poorly as lebron handled the decision IMO. why keep stringing everyone along by saying he "might" be ready soon. GTFOH :rudy:

He has to play regardless at this point killing it now doesn't undo the damage to his image. Although he waited 2 weeks to get the surgery after Shumpert who is playing and performing better. I co-sign your sentiments I have never seen a player's injury handled so badly since Deng back in 09.

Shump did say I think yesterday how he still doesn't have his hops and dunking ability back :manny::whoo: granted his play around the rim was always :dead: his 3pt shooting has improved alot though so with his athleticism back next year shump could be even better offensively than I ever thought :salute:

Lol figures we show up last night and all the posts are gone.

Like I said last night I'm not trusting this Nets team until they can put 4 quarters together like game 1.

I know the Bulls are playing great Defense but when the right group of players is on the floor we can score the ball.

Game 6 is gonna be a battle, but if we can somehow pull it out you'd have to think that's enough momentum to go and win Game 7. But this Nets team and momentum don't go together.

PJ actually coached a great game last night.

Played Blatche/Lopez together and it paid off big time down the stretch.

Gave Hump more playing time. He's the only one that has success guarding Boozer.

Limited the playing time of Reggie, Bogans, Stackhouse.

Overall, the flow of the offense looked much better.

If PJ's dumbass could stick to that gameplan, we could make a legit comeback. Especially since Chicago is banged up.

Agreed 100%. As much as we give him grief for his decisions he finally smartened up last game. Couldn't have managed it any better

Problem with that statement?

What do you want him to say?

Wouldn't you want your players to feel like they are the best team?

I don't want them saying "Well we down 3-2 so the Bulls are better hope we win on Thursday" :skip:

I just laughed at it. I do not necessarily disagree that he should have stated that opinion.

Did he just state it or was he asked about it?

If he just offered that up then it's a bit strange yea.

But if someone asked him who's the better team then I would expect this answer from any player.

Reggie Evans has some sort of flu and wasn't at practice. But he will be ready to fly to Chicago and play Thursday.

Naw it's cool Reggie, stay home and rest up. In fact why don't you just head home and we'll call you when we need you :skip:
