Sorry should have clarified. It’s a high amount in the sense of people slamming 3-4 a day combined with regular diet. But it is 3 times the amount of a can of Coke for example.

Sodium isn't much of an issue as your body struggles to fight against colds, fevers you need salt which keeps your body from dehydration.

I keep hearing this! Im currently taking 2 emergen-cee drinks per day. I make them super hot as well to kill 2 birds with 1 stone (hot liquid said to help) i honestly feel like keeping a strong mental might be most important. Earlier today and last night i almost had a breakdown. I appreciate yall for real because the coli has definitely eased my mind and calmed me down.

A strong mental really is important breh. Imma DM you something that hopefully will help as much as it has helped me and my family deal with the chaos going on. We are extremely positive asf as a result and it’s incredibly beautiful.

pre/probiotics!

Viruses are pH dependent!

Viruses are pH Sensitive

i’m pretty sure i had it, but they wouldn’t test me so since Monday or tuesday (can’t remember) aside from the antibiotic they gave me at the hospital, i’ve eaten very little aside from fruits and eggs, TONS of water, black seed oil, 1000m vitamin c a day, and a pre/probiotic. i’m feeling way better today!

Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in the US have uncovered the ‘Achilles’ heel’ of most viruses which plague mankind are on target, there are vulnerabilities that can be exploited but what they are looking at is not practical or helpful in our fight against viral infections. The so-called ‘Achilles heel’ (or vulnerable point) of most viruses can be exploited by pulling the pH rug out from under them.

The ability of influenza virus to release its genome under different acidic conditions is linked to the transmission of influenza virus. The threshold pH at which fusion is first observed can vary among different serotypes of membrane protein hemagglutinin (HA) and may correlate with virulence. The acid stability of HA has been linked to the successful transmission of virus between avian and human hosts.

Coronavirus infectivity is exquisitely sensitive to pH. For example, the MHV-A59 strain of coronavirus is quite stable at pH 6.0 (acidic) but becomes rapidly and irreversibly inactivated by brief treatment at pH 8.0 (alkaline). Human coronavirus strain 229E is maximally infective at pH 6.0. Infection of cells by murine coronavirus A59 at pH 6.0 (acidic) rather than pH 7.0 (neutral) yields a tenfold increase in the infectivity of the virus.”

You should definitely get in the sunlight with a good bit of your skin exposed, and make vitamin d and take magnesium. Vitamin D helps to prevent, and alleviate respiratory infections, also suppresses cytokine storm. Emergen C is also not as potent as regular vitamin c, because of it's sugar content. Sugars get converted to glucose, both glucose and vitamin c are molecularly similar and compete for the same receptors. Also zinc is something else that's good for lung infections, but yeah hope you make a speedy recovery breh.

Have you developed a cough? Ive been feeling the same thing you have since about Sunday and have had no fever or cough. Been monitoring my temp since then. I've been drinking allot of green smoothies and staying isolated. The chest tightness kinda makes me anxious but Im in the same boat as you not going to the ER unless I feel like its serious. Stay strong breh.

Is there a Tropical Smoothie Cafe near you? They got a new smoothie out called the Immune Booster. It’s really good and is only $2.99 but you’ll have to get it in store tho. It’s not available on their DoorDash menu yet unfortunately. I recommend adding ginger to it and even probiotics (don’t include probiotics if you have a weak immune system tho).

Hey all, just wanted to make a thread about the best ways we have heard to fight off covid-19 once you have it, or may think you are getting it. Some know that i am 90% sure i have it. I did not officially test but my girl works at a hospital and as an elementary school teacher i have already been exposed to most flu strains. Since March 25th i have had constant diarreah, acid reflux, shortness of breath and a load of congestion. The misinformation regarding this virus has been the worst part about finding OTC drugs and supps to help fight this. So far i have heard, and this is from research and word of mouth.

The Good

1. Vitamin c supps (i use emergen-cee 1000 mg)
2. Tylenol - for pain relief and lower fever
3. Mucinex Chest D- Clear out the throat
4. Gargle salt water
5. elduberry- boost your immune
6. Zinc
7. Hot Steam
8.Pray
9.Tumeric- boost immune, fight inflamation and joint pain
10. Oregeno Oil- anti-oxidant boost
11. Drink Hot Liquids- Helps push the clogged virus and mucus down throat and into your stomach where stomach acids will kill virus.
12. Hot coffee- Inflammation and mood/energy

13. Boil water self steam with towel wrap- this worked for me as a temporary relief to my breathing.

The MIGHT BE bad

1. Advil/ ibuprofen- Ace inhibiting is rumored to make virus stronger
2.Cold water- Drinking icy or cold water bad for your throat and lungs
3. Ignoring signals such as cold shivers/ dry cough etc.- dont ignore! Get on top of this early!
4. Smokers Stop!- I only smoke trees (was doing bong rips only as of now for less smoke) and i stopped yesterday totally when i noticed i definitely felt more constriction)

Feel free anyone to add. The worst part for me is that I feel mentally unstable and never sure if i should rest or hit the ER. My main concern is my breathing. I f i had to describe it it would be the fact that i have to THINK ABOUT BREATHING right now instead of just breathing and walking around like normal. Im isolated and have spent ,most of the day napping. I hope that our conversations about this will help not only physically but also releive some mental anguish as i have found comfort from this board knowing im not the only one sick. Lets help each other beat this shyt.

When you say you have to THINK about breathing, I need more info :lupe:

Just said fukk it and drove to the ER y'all. My anxiety was too much honestly to live with. I'm in a room and they just told me my oxygen is at 100% and no temp so they will not be testing me. They told me to stay calm and that the last person that came in with covid oxygen was at 75% and had a temp. They wanna do a chest x ray due to my past (collapsed lung 2009). Now I'm waiting....I really do still believe I have it, but I'm not gonna drive to a testing site and wait for hours. Luckily I found a ER that was in the cut no one really knows about. They took me in immediately. Nurse said my anxiety will definitely make things worse. How do I add media on here? I will post video if I can.
