I just wished 2 player CO OP Beat 'Em Ups would have evolved. Games like Streets of Rage and Urban Reign were legit fun back in the day to a nikka. shyt would have been seeing how those games would have evolved.

As for the thread, I don't see anything wrong with wanting fighting games to have a dope story mode and extra cool features as long as it's well thought out and balanced. That's like bagging a fine ass chick that can cook and play sports. Games like Injustice and the last DOA that came out all get burn from me because of that. Street Alpha 3 did as well when it came out which had that World Tour mode where you can upgrade your player and shyt.

But on the flip side, some fighting games just aren't meant for all those extra features. For example, In theory MK basketball sounds dope, but how the hell would that shyt really turn out. I mean it would have to be some 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 type of sub game with nikkas doing all types of fukkery. Do nikkas really wanna see Raiden take the ball up court by doing that superman rush move. Johnny Cage doing shadow cross overs. shyt like that needs it's own game, but then who would actually buy a game just for that.
Tekken pulled shyt off like that, but that doesn't mean it's for everybody.

Anarchy Reigns, God Hand, Yakuza are the games you want. THOSE are the beat-em-ups.

God Hand was a single player game that wasn't 2 player co op. It also wasn't for the PS3/PS4. It was a PS2 title just like Urban Reign was (which was prolly the last good 2 player co op Beat'Em Up game we've really had in a minute.)

I played Yakuza and it was meh.

Never played Anarchy Reigns though so I'll check that out. Thanks

I remember buying TTT2 thinking I was gonna put as much time into as the first one. I was overwhelmed by all the shyt going on and didn't even bother playing. Same with UMvC3.

If you got emulators, check out Denjin Makai 2/Guardians. Beat em up well ahead of its time that came out in the mid 90s.

Give them bf or cod( I knw bout beef) they go nuts but timing n feintin in a damn fightin game they lost as hell

this is actually a dope ass idea.. you don't have any street fighting games.... no guns... just roam the streets, fukking up nikkas, on the way to rescue somebody
