Same people who stand up for Durant were probably shytting on Dirk in '07 when his best teammates were Jason Terry and Josh Howard.
KD is a beast, but he got exposed these playoffs without RW. He hasn't developed his game and gotten aggressive enough to where he can 1-man-army his team to wins.

Are we trying to say Kevin Martin, Serge Ibaka, and even Reggie Jackson weren't good players in their own right this series?
I'll take Ibaka over Josh Howard 100 times out of 100.
E: What I'm saying is KD got punked by the Grizz this series just like Dirk got punked by GSW in '07. I don't really see it any other way. Durant didn't know what to do when Memphis sent the hard double his way. Especially when his back was turned to the basket. Didn't help that he couldn't make shots or FTs when it mattered to save his life...
He'll learn from it and it will make him a better player. I don't expect the defense Memphis employed this series on Durant will work on him a year from now.
The fact that every game in this series was close was pretty amazing to me. I thought for sure the Grizz would have a few blowouts, so I can understand some of the heat Durant is taking, because in tight games, you expect your superstar to win you some of those games. The fact is, game one and that layup in game four (he was
