Andy Reid is the Bill Cowher of this era. Everyone loves to forget the Great Cowher took 14 years to win a Super Bowl. He lost a lot of AFC title games also.

The difference is Cowher is not as stubborn as Andy Reid..

I cut that damn game off after it was 21-3 at halftime. This dude saw that Shady was shredding the Saints' defense but insisted on Vick throwing the ball; doing that knowing that the offensive line is swiss cheese and can't protect Vick and insists upon Michael Vick staying in the pocket(or is that Michael Vick staying in there getting killed to prove a point?) instead of using his legs to make things happen. The running game opens up the passing game. Then our defense is playing with no heart whatsoever. Somewhere Brian Dawkins, Jeremiah Trotter, Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent are doing this I have a feeling that Lurie is going to let Andy Reid finish out the season but it's obvious that the team is either tuning him out or has already tuned him out and quit on him.

I wouldn't put Andy Reid in sniffing distance of Bill Cowher. Bill Cowher took shytty Steeler Teams in the playoffs year in and year out. He had those teams playinig above their talent level, much like I think Mike Tomlin does now. Andy Reid has had Super Bowl Contenders, from a talent standpoint struggling to make the post season in recent years. How do you have one of the most talented runningbacks in the L getting less than 20-25 touches a game, especially when he's torching defenses.

Andy Reid was a good coach, the seasons they made the playoffs before they got TO, their offensive skill players weren't that good. At that point he took the Eagles to 3 NFC championship games. His starting Wr's were James Trash and Todd Stinkston. Besides the Super Bowl win, they're basically the same coach.

Last night's game was the final straw for me. I've given Reid the benefit of the doubt even when he was on the hot seat during the Donovan Era. But to put up a shytty performance against the Saints going into the halfway point of the season was just too damn much.

From the ridiculous pass/run ratio of the overall offensive gameplan, to the Charminesque intensity of the defense, to the expectations of the team that were understood going into this season, it just seems like Reid's is going through the motions as if all of our fukking problems aren't trends that have persisted all season long, but easily corrected random occurrences, and that's why I now have to sign and co-sign this paperwork.

As a fan I want Reid to succeed, but having the same reaction game after game after game is a reflection of the team's leadership.

Hes lost his mind the past few years but he was a hell of a coach for awhile

Until the past two years he was usually a great playcaller especially in the passing game making inaccurate qb's like Mcnabb and Vick look more accurate the they really are statistically

Also have to give him credit in the past for having the Eagles good and at least competitive every year in a league that is all about parity and its almost impossible to be good every year unless you have a Manning or Brady level qb which he never had. that was impressive
