See friend the scenario you laid out would result in Bryan coming off smart, tough or remotely looking like an actual man. These are traits that the Daniel Bryan character isn't allowed to have, so it won't happen. Cool idea tho, I want see it happen tbh. But have no faith in them.

What if Vince is the devil and the machine the Wyatts want to stop are the Authority. Vince wants to stop them because they're showcasing too much power while Vince is still the head of the WWE. And Bryan joins the Wyatts because that's the only way to progress without the Authority stopping him.
Vince and the Wyatts could turn somewhat face, with it being Bryan vs HHH at WM.
But realistically, it's going to be a heel Bryan w/the Wyatts vs Cena at WM. They're going to do something like "Cena trying to save his friend".

Idiotic is too strong of a work, but D-Bry making it work (once again) wouldn't make it ballsy, it's just another poor decision he turned around.
He would be teflon status if he pulls it off though.

After getting help to win the Rumble and all that, Heel Daniel Bryatt beats Cena at 'Mania....for the belts with the help of The Family. Huge celebration at the end of the match and it looks like the face D-Bry is coming back. The next night on Raw, people are congratulating him and he shows signs of being his old self for a bit, but he still seems uncertain.
The Authority peeps this and there are hints at dissension within The Family all night, leading to Trips booking Daniel Bryan Vs. Bray Wyatt for the belts as that night's main event.
Main event comes...there's the big fight feel. Trips comes out and dismisses Harper and Rowan from ringside. Bell rings...they seem ready to fight, but D-Bry can't bring himself to lay a finger on Bray. Instead....he offers himself to Bray again, gets the Sister Abigail, and Bray pins him. Basically, Bryan GIVES the belts to Bray to screw the machine over because the Family's stronger than ever.
