He did it to himself. The NY media would've hyped up his play and blame the shytty stats on Melo if he stayed. No one to defend him now.

he needs to shoot better , no doubt about it but you're missing some things

6.6 assist with only 2.6 turnovers per game without even being the main ball handler

4.5 rebounds

2.0 steals

if he works on that shot he'll be a really solid role player
:dead:

The future looks bright for your franchise.

For real. I can only imagine if we had re-signed him. We'd be 3-5, or 4-4, with Lin playing mediocre, and of course it would all be the negroes fault --- woody n melo. Ny talk radio would sound like a lynch squad --- damn that would have been a debacle.

Gotta give it up to Knick management and ownership. They took a lot of heat letting Lin bounce. Hows it working out so far?

After 20 games "it's too early"
After 50 games ":pachaha: he's done, he's garbage"

A lot of people showing off that it was never about whether he was for real, but about looking like an informed analyst. Basically...it's a lot of Stephen A Smith's and Skip Bayless's in here.

He's not doing most of the things that led to him being one of the better players on the Knicks last year, and if that comes back he'll definitely be considered starting material again. He's turning over the ball at an acceptable rate and had gotten decent assist numbers with trash offensive players. Guarantee whenever Asik learns how to put the ball in the basket, Lin will have some of the better assist numbers in the league.

I also think his knee is still ailing him....D'Antoni ride him to the ground and might have killed his growth because of it. Hopefully that's not the case. I'd like to see him play well by the end of the year
