I think he's still got the talent but he just picks and chooses a lot of shytty films. However, I don't think he's flat top status, not after seeing Black Mass. Honestly, he was the best thing about the movie because the screenplay was weak. Depp bought his A game.
He just needs to start picking better films. He needs to holler at Scorsese, Tarantino, and Aronofsky for some films.
