I came to the conclusion that the only good popeye's left are located at the maximum of 300 miles around New Orleans, .where you can get the real creole food.

The same as any fried chicken spot....cook it so much they kill it twice. Anything fried is amazing as long as the oil isn't to old and you don't overcook it. This has nothing to do with the chain itself but the hired help.

The Popeyes up the street from Lew Lew used to be aight, haven't been in a minute. Rudy's still cool except them nasty ass fries. I ain't been to Halls in over 10 years but I might check em out cause my grandma live by one
