Absolutely no reason they should have had ANY confidence in the D to make a stop, when they were giving up long drives at a historic rate. Another thing I hate is how coaches dont try to score at the end of the half just cuz they at their own 20 with 15 seconds left.

I played madden vs a nikka and he pulled his starters in the 4th after i got up by 3 tds
nikka was avoiding virtual injuries...
What i really hate when teams be at the other team 30 yard line and be conservative and run the ball left or right to have there kicker in the right position and they have like 30 seconds left in the game and 1 timeout.. then they get mad at the kicker missing the field goal from 40 yards out..

Fam... they were 7-1 ranked #17 at the time... after that play they never won another game that season including the next week getting blown out by historically the worst Michigan team in their history AT HOME...
Dude got fired midseason 2 years later after starting out 1-6...

Whats funny is I don't remember that game. And I'm a notorious NW stan.(They been my 11 o'clock team to watch for years) And wow Minnesota was 7-1 thats crazy.
