In savings? I'll have around 8K when I'm ready to buy. Yeah, I'm still new to credit.
Don’t spend more than half of your entire savings on a down payment bro... you will regret that.

You should have a goal of at least 3months worth of checks in your savings. As long as your monthly payment isnt over 2-250 you should be good

Then I won't be able to afford the Civic or Corolla. I don't mind getting an older car, but NavyFed won't finance a car that's more than 6 years old. I would also buy an older car outright, but it's a big fukking risk just dropping 5K and hoping that a car with 120k miles doesn't fukking die.

Truth be told, I might just say fukk it and buy the Nissan since it's cheap and dependable.

2016 is not more than 6 years...

I’m not telling you to buy anything with 120k im asking why are you dropping 5 k on an older beater?

And buy whatever... if you don’t plan on driving 15k miles a year any of those cars might wirk out. When i was in i was gone so much and barely went anywhere besides work that i only used like 5k miles a year dead serious. I lived on base, cabbed anywhere in town, and rarely did road trips. Im overseas. Buy something cheap and dependable if you’re living anything like that...

I had a whole damn escalade too

Where are you getting these deals from? New car dealerships or used (small) dealerships?

Also, that Civic model was a new design. Did they continue that design in 2017 and 2018? It looks like it was an all time best seller up to 2016 as far as civics goes.

The Corolla in general is one of the best selling cars ever. I've rented that Corolla before. It left me wanting more horsepower. But it will get the job done and looks nice. Do they still have warranties or were they 2 year only? Not a big deal if mot. Shouldn't expect much maintenance on these.

Ever looked into visiting an auction nearby?
