I fuccs with this nicca @sifon

His posts are based in reality...the last truly good FF was 9

And FF12 and 13's stories were garbage, i dunno what that other nicca talking about SE always comes correct? :dahell:...they haven't in near enough a decade

I will say that the breh need to :whoa: and pump the brakes on calling FF12 complete garbage though, it was an enjoyable playthrough...

The more I hear about this game the stranger it sounds. The whole game is a cross country road trip in that car to retrieve a stolen crystal from the enemy country. the car is like a party member according to the director and there will be no female party members. Seems like your party is limited to those guys we've already seen. The game is supposed to be a little over half done and really all the progress they've made on it has been in the last 2 years when the new director came on-board.

What's the difference between the car and an airship? The story is what is gonna break or make this game.

Well I can at least say I've never played a JRPG that's a bunch of best buds on a road trip. The concept is different. Hopefully they can pull it off.

That's what I find so intriguing about this Final fantasy, I just hope the developers can make us care about the characters

Peep how this dude recreated trailer music from this game from scratch back in 2011. He did it by ear.

Years later in 2014 the official song is released sounds almost identical

Noctis and the guy with the biker jacket have pretty good character designs...they really should've replaced one of the blonds with a brotha.

Final Fantasy XV has been on our minds (or at least the back corners of them) since its announcement back in 2006. Over the course of eight years, development has been delayed, debated, and even completely restarted in 2012. The decision to launch the game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, rather than the previous generation consoles, set the clock back to nearly zero for development, and with this restart came Hajime Tabata, the project’s new director.

With the game roughly 50-60% complete and a demo coming soon, Tabata shares with us further details on the project, beginning with the play time of the demo.

]“I think in general the play time is about an hour. However, that’s if you use the car to get around,” Tabata told Dengeki (translation courtesy of Sqex.info). “By the way, you can also play it for additional challenges, so you can spend more time with it. For example, in order to obtain a strong weapon, you can venture into the dungeon that has monsters stronger than the ones above ground.”

Tabata went on the compare the demo to the full length of Final Fantasy XV: “I’m assuming that the actual game will take about 40 hours to clear, so comparing it in simple terms, the demo is about 1/40th of the actual game’s content.”

These times exclude the exploration opportunities provided by Final Fantasy XV‘s world, however. As with most FF games (not all…*cough* FFXIII) there will be many opportunities to delve deeper into the large world. These are approximated “clear” times, and playable time will exceed this amount.
In terms of the demo, Tabata has previously been quoted stating, “You’ll get the opportunity to drive around, in which case you can expect the demo to last for 3-4 hours. Should you elect to walk everywhere, that will extend how much time the demo takes you to play through.
