I must've just been damaging it by luck but didn't notice it. FINALLY beat that boss on hard. That shyt was intense :blessed:

@42 Monks @Dre Space Age that "Pray" materia came in handy because it allowed me to not use MP but still healed along with barrier. Scorpion got cooked :blessed:. shyt felt amazing when I beat him. Gameplay is :wow:
That’s wassup.

I haven’t even bothered trying to figure out enemies weaknesses, most of my time I’ve just been mashing buttons and trying to switch up the mashing along with spells. All my thinking actually just goes into the actual build setups. I spend way too much time in menus. By the time I’m ready to fight IDGAF.

I blame Warframe for this. That game has ruined how I approach action games.

‘You ain’t lying...I almost quit the game going through that boring crap.
whaaat? The trainyard was amazing imo. I loved the battle music in that chapter and the boss fight was amazing. The only "boring" part of the game if I had to call it that was in chapter 8 as the environment was kind of wack.

8 was “boring” but for some reason I liked it. It was like a refreshing feeling walking around the slums with her.

Would the elemental materia be stronger with Barret or Cloud ?

So I’m fighting abzu or whatever the fukk his name is, and my team won’t move after he does his sewer water move. They actually fukkin tried to block it instead of run away from it and that was it. My health was low, then I think one of his little pigs shot some bullshyt to end it.

I'm talking about when the city opened up and side quests were available. I can see someone being 'bored' by the more somber music and harsh day time lighting.

I think I play for too long and get fatigued at the constant start and stopping...I need to only play in short doses of 1 hour or so. The most fun part of the game to me is the battle system and the game finds a ton of ways to prolong me getting into more battles. Boss battle, long video exposition, followed by long ass slow walk down a tight corridors, to a video that sets up a switch flipping mini game, complete mini game, watch another video, slow walk, boss battle. Many parts of this game boils to me walking between cutscenes and thats the part that tires me out.
