Does anyone have info on if they have a system to keep old weapons viable or will it be like the original where you essentially toss your old weapons once you get an upgrade? The buster sword is an iconic weapon and it seems they should find a way to keep it relevant in more than just the first 3 hours.

I remember we all had to hunt for our ultimate weapons for each character...:patrice: we might have to do that in this version too right???

If you’re playing it for the first time I suggest you just play it, progress in the natural way and enjoy it. Don’t worry about secret items etc, that’s for those who’re playing it again probably for the 5th time.
Are there any summons in the demo

I believe FF8, 10 and 12 have this feature on their remastered versions too. Makes leveling up and grinding so much easier.

Looks like this game is going to be a monster sales wise

Sony should do another exclusive deal with square as I’m sure they’ll move a lot of PS5s if this only comes out on it.

So the remake ends at Midgard right? Midgard in the OG version is only like 4-5 hours?

Wonder what they’ll exactly do to make the game longer.

OG game like 38 hours for the main story or about 50 if you do extra stuff. This first part is supposed to be as long as a regular FF game so this game may be just as long as the entirety of FFVII originally.

Nah disk one was the meat of the game. People tend to forget that.

If I recall it was at least like 18 hours or more, I feel like the 3rd disk was like 6 and the 2nd one like 10
