I hate to break it to you but Versus XIII is dead. XV is a different game using some of the same characters.Oi I remember being a young boy. I remember seeing FF Versus being announced and I immediately wanted to buy a ps3., and yes a PS3 was bought when I made enough money(got my first job) to buy it.
Anticipating the gameI got FF 13 which was utter crap and killed due to the fact it went multiplat on a console still using garbage media.
But I still had faith in FF Versus. SoI waited and waited after a trilogy of this shyt of 13 got released. I was in pain, until E3 when they announced it as 15 for the PS4.
. So I keep on waiting. I wait until my liege, the reason why I still buy consoles comes out.

I wouldn't call it a different game, from the early footage we got and details it is still using the same basis for the story and gameplay that Nomura originally presented.
Square has done better lately. We're getting info at a decent pace now and I really liked that fishing and chocobo gameplay video we got a little while back. The only issue is that they're announcing more games before XV and KH III have release dates.

I'm in the camp that loves it (until disc 4) but the ability lock of the last dungeons was dope.

Don't get peopel asking for remakes of 8,9, 10 etc. They still look great.

FF has had such a fall from grace SMH
It's still not the game Nomura pitched. It uses concepts and characters from that game and abandons others. Nomura and the team that developed Versus XIII are mostly not on this project. It's like a new team and director came to the project that was in development hell and picked over it and made a new game from it's corpse.
Let's be real here. Stella was a central character of Versus XIII and has been completely removed in XV. That alone is telling that it's not the same game.

Final Fantasy XIII and it's sequels are the GOAT Final Fantasy games. FFXV looks horrible. I already want them to announce FF16 cause this shyt is wack.

Having an unpopular opinion isn't the same as trolling. XIII's characters, story, etc was dope to me. I thought Versus XIII looked decent but I don't like shyt about XV.
