trying to marginalize my point by trying to slander my name with your own projections http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection

dont get upset that drake/ flo-rida and justin beiber all visited ellen degeners show as part of their promotion.. since their so hip-hop

but why would those 3 artist visit the same tv show to promote their albums:ohhh:

could it be they all share the same fanbase.. or is it a conspiracy :bryan:

Well go back and look at the top hiphop songs in the 90s

Homie...the charts didn't mean nothing back then. It was so much music dropping back then that the radio was playing whatever was hot in NYC or Cali. The 90's was a time where people went to clubs to hear the new music and made it hot...not the influences of radio so much.

lol, I came up in the 80s and 90s...

There was suspect shyt in the 90, but the hard working artist paid off. Drake put in that work on this shyt + he fills a niche + he is madd creative + plus he is multifaceted in different areas of the game. .

my personal feelings is this is some soft shyt, not my style and drake is a fakkit.... but realistially you can't hate on him. multi plate in the 90's... bout to be plat now - 2013 and that shyts impressive. And it's not like real nikkas havent nodded their head to at least 1 of his features or hits. period.

Definitely...it was some b.s. back then also...but if you remember ...how many child actors from Canada was really gonna be put on back then? No record label would've gave him a chance and Toronto wasn't where they were looking for talent at. Plus don't get me confused with hating Drake....I mean personally i think he is a soft cornball but when i was DJin' I pushed his music like i do any other artist. I played Replacement Girl, his Closer joint and Must Hate Money with Rich Boy in my sets when i DJed. I pushed Best i ever had and had chicks grinding on dudes when i put on that slow joint with him and Lloyd...so i've never denied his talent....i just don't agree that he would've been a big star back then. Now if you are talking post East/West beef when everyone was wanting safe music...then maybe.

:wow:

fukk you bringing gay shyt for? ya idol eminem infiltrated hip hop with the gay shyt, his last album has a song about him being raped by his dad/step dad.

All drake raps about is p*ssy.

i believe thats more of an observation than a prediction unless you feel he has a fake platinum wrist chain thing

drake losing half his fans after only 2 albums

mj-laughing.gif

1 more day till harsh realities
mj-laughing.gif

i dont feel this release has the same buzz as "TC".. majority here choose 500k+

well see i gues
mj-laughing.gif

WHY? eveything is pointing for this release to do only a littel better than half of TC #'s my predictioon 368k

when TC dropped YM was STILL THE POWER label in the game.. had wayne pushin 1mil 1st week.. Niki blowin up.. drake captured that timefram perfectly and cashed in.. he will NEVER have that type a buzz again.. its not much to o with the musc since both albums are similar and mediocre.. but times changes and FICKLE fans change with them.. and the hip-hop landscape is not the saem as it was when TC dropped
mj-laughing.gif

i feel there very similar... both can be argued as the 2nd biggest name in hip-hop. both seem to feel that there name alone would push #'s like they used to withoud blessing the fans with a level of quality music that they had gave us fans in the past

+ drakes target fanbase in 16-24yr olds(radio crowd)... this group is the less likely to PURCHASE albums. will see if his fanbase is as dedicated to what your all telling me with these 600k+ 1st week #'s
mj-laughing.gif

im on record for 368K

can someone please quote this. for me so you know its real and i didnt edit it
mj-laughing.gif

EVERYONE knew when knaye was droppin.. i dont want to get inot thi shyt..

he had projections in 100cities around the world playin new slaves on 100ft tall buildings... he was all over the gossip mag, performed @ SNL Etcetc

that "no promo" is bs he didnt promote it in a conventional way but it was still HEAVILY promtoted
mj-laughing.gif

ok lets jsut say your right...

why has it already fallen off the charts? doesnt quality music have a susatinability where promo isnt needed due tto he quality and word of wouth keepin it in rotaion on the charts

** waits for its "experimental" and wasnt uppose to do crazy numbers because its so "unique"

daft punk/pharrell has dominated the summer.... knaye had daft punk on numerous songs on "yeezus" why dnt they have the sucess that the daftpunk/pharrell collabs have?
mj-laughing.gif

so your saying hes no drake thats for sure?

http://www.drewreports.com/2013/09/...-drake-to-pushed-back-the-start-of-tour-date/

Rapper Drake’s North American tour is not getting off to a strong start. Sources tell us ticket sales are tepid for the 41-city tour, and the rapper announced Friday that he’s pushing back the start date until Oct. 18.

mj-laughing.gif

aernt they able to count the 1st couple days of sales now since were already on the 6th day of the album being officially out.

its more likely that the album sold the most on the 1st couple days compared to the last days of the sales week..

RIGHT?
