Because ultimately people don't give a shyt about French Montana, hit singles and mad promo or not. People give a big shyt about Cole, as we've seen since the last album.
I wasn't saying that that formula is all it takes for sales. However, without it, you're pushing a rock up hill.
I'm glad to see J Cole is selling well. I really enjoy his album.
