The Fire Rises 2023
Ford announced the base price for its all-new 2015 Mustang V6. Today, pricing for the rest of the fastback (read: coupe only) lineup has leaked online. As previously reported, the Mustang V6 will start off at $24,425. We’ve now learned that the upgraded V6 model, which adds items such as 18-inch wheels and LED foglamps, runs for $25,420. For those who will only accept a Mustang with a V8, Ford is asking you to pony up (pun intended) $32,925 – a $1,715 price bump over the outgoing GT.
For those interested in the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four, the price of entry is $25,995. Ford is also offering EcoBoost and V8 buyers, regardless of which of engines they choose, various Premium trims, which add features such as a nine-speaker stereo, and eight-inch display with MyFord Touch, selectable driving modes, and interior upgrades like aluminum foot pedals. So, for example, a Mustang EcoBoost with the Premium pack will increase the price to $29,995, while the GT increases to $36,925. And it doesn’t stop there. Buyers can continue to add extra items, such as a 12-speaker Shaker stereo, memory seats and a blind-spot monitoring system.
By doing so, the EcoBoost will cost $31,790 and the GT $38,720. There’s also the GT Performance Pack, which adds 19-inch wheels, six-piston Brembo brakes, a larger radiator and many other performance-enhancing options. That’ll cost an extra $2,495. Other add-ons include Recaro leather seats and floor mats. The $825 destination charge is included in all of the pricing here. And lastly, the 50th Anniversary Mustang GT is priced at $46,995.
