When you're in the thick of it, someone saying that "both sides/extreme left" talking point sounds like blasphemy but once your emotions are out of it you see it clearly. Cognitive dissonance is at an all time high over there.
People who lash out and scream at others for having other opinions are immature and should not be taken seriously. I've seen simple disagreements on one end get turned into literal death threats .
