Finally got Ryse last night

Only played for 3 hours and I'm on chapter 4/8, for 1. Visually its the best game I've ever seen. Everything from the characters facial expressions, to the detail in ground/water is amazing. Theres more depth to the gameplay than what people have been saying, but true indeed, the main game is pretty much 3 buttons and the upgrade system is pointless. If they expand on the fighting mechanics and make it to where you can use different weapons and possibly have way more of a variety of enemies, the next one will be solid

So then what do you give it right now out of 10?

And as for your critique of the game. Every game has to start somewhere.
From the sound of things, Ryse 2 should be one of those games that is considered an all-time great

I agree with op that it is and at the same time. I think it's worth a try either as a rental or cheap purchase. Lowered expectations definitely made me enjoy it more though
