IF you want peace and quiet and chill with the wife or family it’s wonderful. Beach is empty and everyone is laid back. Plenty of fishing and water activities. Food isn’t amazing but it’s good. Mostly fried fish and seafood. Majority CACs but you will see plenty of black people workjjng in the stores and the occasional other couple or family.

If you are looking for clubs and bytches and parties this ain’t the place at all.

You summed it up lol. Me and the wife stayed in Kitty Hawk, ate lunch in Duck, and went to Corolla to do the wild horse tour. We also went to see the Bodie lighthouse and the one in Corolla. It’s laid back and quiet and I want to go back. Amazing place. I flew my kite on the beach and had fun on sone little kid shyt lol. My wife still roast me about that to this day lol. One thing I DON’T recommend… High Cotton BBQ. Damn that food was weak! Our hotel was across from it and we went because we were tired after being in the car for 6 hours. I think it was the worst bbq I’ve ever had.

I bet! Man we were looking at them houses like I know these folks are making all kinds of money. Yeah we didn’t look at Nags Head til on the way out. Stopped by Ben Franklins and the outlet. We might try to go down there toward the end of the summer/fall.

a lot of black history out that way they don’t teach. First all black coast guard station was out there. Those brothers were swimming out to ships during storms and rescuing people. They just named a bridge after one of them. Richard etheridge.
