Apple tends to support their hardware longer, have products that work seamlessly together, and other software tricks such as iMessage, FaceTime, and AirDrop that work a little better than the Android copy cat versions of the same thing.
Android OEMs tend to have better hardware perks such as always on displays, fast charging, running apps side by side, more software customization, and other perks not available on iOS.
It all comes down to preference but they run all the same apps for the matter for the most part.
