Eh, I was droid gang all the way up to IPhone 7+ But it got to the point where I was using my work phone(IPhone) to surf the web more than my personal. Them droids stop working like they’re supposed to way too soon. I can keep my iPhone for years and it never fails. I have an 8+, iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch. I can smoothly transfer shyt between devices with no problems. I don’t care about having music on my phone cause I stream and I have all the shyt I can’t stream on flash drives that I can plug into my car or computer. Albums are on iTunes as well and I can get to them easily. AirDrop is goat to me. FaceTime is easy. Apple Pay, videos and pics are crispy, etc. I’m never going back to Android. I’m super good over here.

The thing that pissed me off the most about iPhone was their proprietary video codec. I used to make marketing videos, and I hated when I would get iPhone footage to work with. Their Apple Intermediate Codec was incredibly difficult to work with on a PC, I had to convert them on another computer before I could work with them. fukk Apple.

mp4?

It can't play anything else usually. I tried to put all my training videos on my ipad and I had to convert 16gigs to mp4 for it to play.

The problem with android is that it's too many steps, iphone lays it out much easier, when I used VLC in the play store it took for ever for VLC to decode it to even show up and the videos were all over the place.

As I remember, they are technically MP4, but wrapped in an Apple proprietary codec, making them possible to playback, but not to edit on Windows, as Apple didn't give editing software devs access to the codec. I have never had problems playing back anything on my S8. Just get MX player. Blows VLC out of the water on mobile, at least. I don't know if it is for iPhone.
