Great film until the end, though the ending doesn't manage to ruin the rest. It's also beautifully filmed for a thriller. DAT FINCHER.

he was kidnapped to mexico remember.. and drove back to his house by hitchhiking then jumping the fence. so the company had days, even weeks alone in the house. during this time they found the gun and replaced it with blanks.
at the top she's lying to him. making him think its real, while he no longer can tell what's real and what's not. she explains the whole movie to you, by saying it was blanks during the shootout, there was a diver when they crashed the car, etc etc.
he doesn't believe her and "shoots" his brother. knowing the way his brain works from the 10 hour psych test, they knew he'd follow his father. if not, as the other actor told him later, he'd have to throw him off..............
it is one of those movies you can only watch once. and you think of the damage they did, the number of actors, insurance liability, etc, that bill had to be a million plus easy. a lot was far fetched tho
