It was good. I liked most of the characters and the world and fights where cool. The way they portrayed Sam and Frodo's friendship was a little bit too gay though (not against homosexuality, but it felt strange watching the scenes with them together at times) I can see where the hype comes from now. Are The Hobbit movies worth watching?

Hobbit movies were trash
they were not trash... Ppl's expectations were just to high for that movie.

Nah the theatrical ones. My buddy is a huge fan and I told him I never saw any of them in full so we watched them over the last few days. He told me to check out the extended cuts later on and I might.
have fun with that, them shyts are like 3 hours long a piece.

on watching the extended cuts.I had the same problem as a kid but the older I get the better my attention span becomes. Also watching them with friends helped keep me interested during the slower parts.

hobbit is the most disappointing trilogy ever. Its one of my favorite books too.
I recommend downloading the fan edit which cut out all the shyt that is not in the book and is one 4 hour movie with intermission(i haven't peeped though)
