I finally went get counseling plus went home to the N.O. last week I was in a bad place where I tried to commit suicide
Diagnosed with PTSD, depression, severe anxiety, paranoia among other shyt. The hardest part was talking with my kids about it. My oldest days she remembers me having gun to my head when she was like 4/5 but didn't understand what it meant at the time. I put a big burden on my kids because I rely on them to keep me together(basically because they the only ones I trust) I told my wife and she said she knew something was off but now she knows how to deal with me. From growing up and my stepdad beating me and my mom to shootouts, working psych ward prisons for 5 years I carried allot with me.
