Even when I was married I never kept joint finances or ever got involved with any loans, debt, accounts etc with my ex wife.

She was up to her rib cage in student debt and also had a issue with hoarding/shopping.

Financial Infidelity is a must when you have a reckless partner who has no financial common sense.

shyt, I'd never marry a chick with no financial common sense in the first place.

I don't care how fat the ass is or how pretty the face is.

It wasn't that bad since I kept everything separate but that video you linked....

  • Payday loans
  • Bank loans
  • High interest loans
  • Shoe boxes
  • tons of DVDs (She loved to collect those) Think how much and how useful they are in 2018.

Bought back some memories watching that video you linked.:francis:

Idk why some folks are ITT talking about making bread on the side or hiding stashes away from your spouse when that's not what financial infidelity even is.

"Cheating" in this sense is basically spending large amounts of money behind your partner's back and/or racking up huge debts without the other party knowing. There's no "side hustle" or "secret overtime" involved here.

Didn't we have a nikka on here like a month ago who blew his family's rent money on a stock bet he thought was a "sure thing"? That's the kind of "financial cheating" the article is talking about here.

I have so many stories like this from people I know IRL it's not even funny. And just anecdotally, the collective "guilt" is split pretty evenly. From bytches secretly applying for store cards and proceeding to "retail therapy" themselves into oblivion, to dudes dipping into savings accounts meant for homebuying in order to covertly purchase video games and trips to the strip club.

Remember:

Woman’s money = woman’s money

Man’s money = family’s money

A lot of women are taught this shyt, which ultimately leads to financial infidelity and failed marriages.

@kevm3 @Supreme Leader Reinscarf

Let's be real here, unless the bytch is a stay at home wife/mom with a small side hustle (which I doubt the majority of you nikkas could even afford anyway........no offense), this old adage doesn't really apply. Most married women (just like most married men) these days are putting their money in a communal pot and buying things based on their combined purchasing power. This ain't 1968 where you could still support a family (or even a wife) on just one income, and whatever a woman earned on her menial secretarial salary or whatever went directly into her pocket. And if we're being REALLY real, that shyt has never really applied to most black folk on a grandscale. Guarantee most of your grannies worked, and they didn't just do it for "pin money" or some shyt either.
