What do you do? 2k a week as side money? That’s more than my regular non side biweekly pay.
Union electrician. 45/hr plus full benefits(about a $70/hr package). A lot of ot too. Time and a half, double time, double time and a half:sas1: We make lawyer money on weekends. We usually charge 100/hr for side work. A lot of us flip houses as well

And we get paid to learn our trade through an apprenticeship:banderas:

Edit: you nikkas better stop going to college without a full plan... Letting these "educational" institutions rape you while charging you for the lube:dead:

I will always maintain separate accounts no matter what my relationship status is

Nothing wrong with that.

However, I do believe there should be one joint account set aside for bills and other household expenses that both sides direct deposit into.

As a man, you SHOULD not let your woman knows everything about your finances. Keep a secret stash for the hard time.

There’s a fine line here.

Secret stashes are never a good thing on either side.

There should be a “hard time” fund both parties contribute to.

Marriage works for the average working man and woman. They can pool their reaources together and make moves.

But if youre a man whos out here really getting it on a high level without needing a woman..... Man, fukk all that committment shyt....... That shyt seems like nothing but headache, unless you find a chick who's equally getting it on a high level as well. nikkas be upgrading chicks and then act suprised when she acts a fool with the paper or the lifestyle.

No it does not the avg man has it the hardest. Because the mindset is his money is the families and her money is hers.

It’s such a jacked up mindset.

I was talking to a brehette about this the other day. We were talking about why sistahs have trouble dating down.

Even when dating down, they still have this same mindset, which dooms relationships.

As more of them continue to achieve, things will only worsen for them in their respective quests to find a mate.

I SUPPORT FINANCIAL INFIDELITY 100%

Based on past experiences with women

I am soooooo guilty of this

Within the first year of a relationship I'm usually honest with a woman about my income and my contribution

But once I realize she BAD AT MANAGING MONEY I fall back by saving more for myself and contributing less or lying about recieving extra money..

Had an ex I shared a joint account with...

The Byatch never contributed but always wanted to critique and control how I managed the funds..even at the time she didn't have a fukking job when I first opened it :snoop:

Blew alot of money on mismanagement and bills with her ..smh

Fast forward a year later I found a higher paying job ...

I started off as a temp......but within six months I became permanent with a huge raise!

I had already created an EXIT PLAN out the relationship...

This time I didn't tell her SHYT about the raise ...

Hell she didn't even know I was PERMANENT for two years
:lolbron:

for the next two years I saved up alot of bread in my separate account and raised my credit score and bounced on her Azz

Now six years later I am part of upper management at that same job .. my own home and a business and I owe it all to being a FiNANCIALLY CHEATING b*stard
:salute:

Most sista don’t have an issue with dating down they have an issue with dating equal. The broke guy she has power over and the rich guy can give her a luxury lifestyle. The avg guy in her mind brings nothing
