Common lyrically type fell off on FF and they saw the success of Be and tried to replicate it. Be is considerably better than FF IMO and one of the last legit classics in recent memory. Com spittin and Ye/Dilla on that jazz/soul tip was a match made in heaven.

The first time I heard Be (Intro) I was like,
Be is a classic. But Finding Forever is a great album as well. You can't go wrong with either one.

i personally liked Finding Forever more, a classic in my eyes, at least on the level of BE at worst.
I really never saw what everyone else liked in BE, pretty forgettable for me (I should have mentioned that in the "albums you tried to force yourself to like, but couldn't" thread). I definitely have FF rated higher.
Start the Show beat is dope and Com comes correct.
The People is dope
Drivin Me Wild is aight, catchy
I Want You is another dope beat where Com delivers
Southside is meh

Black Maybe is ridiculously dope
don't like So Far to Go and Break My Heart

Finding Forever has some mainstream misfires. Be is solid from beginning to end. Near perfect

at times I think this, but then I retract that thought, lol. both albums are ill no doubt. I love them both. be was short and sweet. I don't know man, this is tough. I think I like the vibe better ff though

What's with the face? I suppose if he's saying it's better than any other Com album then that's stupid. But One Day It'll All Make Sense is dope and his best album behind Resurrection and LWFC. Easily better than Be or Finding Forever.

this is a question- i wrestle with a lot, i love be and finding forever. i think be is better received because it dropped 1st. after hearing it, finding forever kinda sounds like moreso applying the same formula- ye was so focused on both these albums. gun to my head, i may go with be by an inch. i think lyrically he was slightly better on be, but the beats slightly edged to finding forever to me.
