I'd play Westbrook exactly like they did Rondo, give him a cushion, go under every screen and let him take shots. He's a much better shooter than Rondo by far, but you live with all his makes, and just let him keep shooting. The more shots he takes means the less shots for Durant and Harden.
i'm not sure this is something i would want to do. we've seen him get hot and cant miss. go back to the semi's against the Lakers. he's the biggest reason why they won that series.

The two games they played this season were completely different, and the truth is somewhere in the middle. The first game the Thunder blew them off the floor, Kendrick Perkins had 16pts, how likely is that to happen again? The second game the Heat shut down everyone outside of Durant, Westbrook and Harden and won the game.
i remember the first game in OKC where it seemed like the Heat were out of the game from the beginning. and Kendrick Perkins aint doing that again. i also remember in the 2nd game that every time OKC would get close, Westbrook would do something to sabotage the game.

The Heat have to slow down Harden and Ibaka to win the series, Harden makes up the bulk of the Thunder's bench production, they get 10ppg from Fisher and Collison (playoffs). Ibaka gives them 11ppg right now and a release for Westbrook on those pick and pops.
but can you really depend on Miller, Cole, and whoever else the Heat decide to come off the bench with? i cant take that chance.

they cant "live" with that. and if they decide to close out on him, he's going around them. then what happens? you put LeBron or Wade on him? putting Wade on him would work during at the beginning of gamee. but you're giving free reign to Harden during closing time if you continue with that. lets be honest, Shane is a shell of himself when it comes to defending. Melo lit him up in every way imaginable. didnt really have to play against anyone like that in the past two rounds.
