haven't really seen anyone mention this, and it might sound off the wall...

but I'd rather have Lebron on Westbrook and put Battier on KD as opposed to the alternative which is likely Chalmers on Westbrook and Lebron on KD

KD can get his shot off against whatever, even Bron, there's only so much you can do to try to stop him... he's gonna shoot over whoever is guarding him unless it happens to be Bosh on a particular possession... after seeing what Lebron did to Rose in the ECF last year, I think he could have similar success on Westbrook... if you put Bron on Westbrook and Wade on Harden, you're basically forcing KD to beat you by himself... he's capable of doing so on occasion, but 4 out of 7 would be tough
I like the idea of LeBron on Westbrook but Battier on Kd is :usure:

yea like I said, it's not ideal by any means, but who else you gonna put on him? James Jones? Mike Miller? Battier guarded Harden for stretches in their meetings during the regular season, so the more likely matchup is probably Wade on Westbrook, Battier on Harden, and Lebron on Durant

I still say the Heat's best shot to win is putting Battier at the 4 and starting Bosh at the 5... make Brooks choose whether he wants Perkins size in there at the expensive of drawing Ibaka out of the paint on D to presumably guard Battier on the perimeter... also, Bosh would abuse Perkins, so Brooks would probably have no choice but to sit Perkins until those stretches where Joel Anthony is in the game

the sad part is, all this strategy we've been discussing, it's really gonna come down to whether or not OKC is making their jumpers that they so heavily rely upon... it's even more important in this series than the others because if they're missing those, the Heat are scary in transition and it could lead to a lot of easy baskets for Miami... it would be a good idea for OKC to take them just because Miami has been suspect in their transition D lately and OKC won't want them to get settled in their half court D

My brother's keeper
Have to wait 'til 9...hyped

If I'm sending anybody to the bench it's Haslem

Ibaka isn't a post player, so

Chalmers
Wade
Bron
Battier
Bosh

could work

That's great spacing that renders Perkins irrelevant defensively, and brings Ibaka far from the paint

My nikka you trolling right:heh: we went over this 30 times :stopitslime: not only did the whole team zone rose they forced the other players to make plays. we have 3 primarily ball handlers, if lebron wants to come off perkin screens all day its welcomed :manny:

Westbrook is shooting 30% his last 5 games against Miami.

The matchups really favor Miami in this series. OKC is completely incapable of taking advantage of Miami's biggest weakness, that's inside. Ibaka blocks shots but Bosh or Haslem can pull him away from the basket. That's really all he does is block shots with his 6 rebounds a game ass. And of course Perkins is useless.

Like I said, Miami in 6 or less.

The Celtics showed everyone why he Thunder will win the Finals. Perkins. If Perkins was still on that Celtics team, theres no doubt the Heat would not score as much inside as they did with KG and Bass down low. Perkins is going to be like how Chandler was last year for Dallas. He's the X factor.
