He wins you a 100 games and you wanns fire him because you're gonna get bounced by a better team. Where do we do that at. Don't get me wrong he's made mistakes but shyt man a more experienced manager wasn't going to get you past the sox.

Boone’s primary job is to be Cashman’s puppet/yes man.

Seems like he does that well enough to keep his spot. :yeshrug:

The majority of us have wanted him gone since July at least. He coaches every game just like how Erik Spoelstra coached the 2011 finals. He never puts the best players in position to deliver, never gameplans around the team’s strengths, never learns from failing strategies, and never makes any adjustments.

I get that but this is year 1. Let him grow into the job. Joe Girardi is not walking through that door. If this was year 3 or 4, I would understand but if the Red Sox weren't having a historic year this wouldn't even be a conversation.

Boone’s decisions lost us that series more than the Sox beating them.
I can't buy that.

Happ, Sevy, and CC all laid eggs (and I wouldn't even call it an egg on CCs part, he's running on fumes). Meanehile Eovaldi and Porcello pitched gems. Lineup was dead in both home games other than the 9th inning heat check where Kimbrel was imploding.

Boone could've pulled his starters earlier in some spots, but if you've got one starter in your rotation that can go 3 innings you're dead regardless. Team got outplayed, period.

Sevy and CC should have been pulled early. CC gave up those runs when Gardner misplayed a ball. Gardner had no business starting over Cutch who likely makes that catch. Keeping Stanton higher than 7th in the lineup....

He shat the bed that series

Don’t forget benching Andujar for a guy who hit .219 on the season in game 4
