tomlin will ride out the 1 (maybe) more season big ben sticks around, and the team will move on from both the coach and the qb at the same time. one more season to peter out with the leagues most explosive offense, and some folks can blame it on the pats even though they probably wont play em . time comes up for all teams with guys not named beli as a coach to move on. reid will eventually be canned from his second gig, mccarthy will be ousted and already should have been, carrolls on his last legs in seattle, payton has been on the hot seat and will probably be cut loose this year or next etc, and all are as good or better coaches than tomlin

We’ve been gradually rebuilding our defense over the last few years. LeBeau, Polamalu, Taylor, Clark, Porter, and even now Harrison are all gone.
Lots of draft picks on the defensive end and this was supposed to be the year they panned out and Shazier goes down with a spinal injury.

We been trying to replace all of those players for years now and still have nothing to show for it. Shazier is done, Jarvis Jones was a horrible bust, Dupree is following in his footsteps, Mitchell was a horrible signing, burns is inconsistent, golson was a 2nd round CB and didn't play one snap for us, luckily haden fell into our lap or else we'd be absolutely terrible on the secondary. All of our linebackers minus watt have reached their low ceilings & our D-line is not playing well enough to warrant their salary. That's alotta top draft picks spent on defense that were all wasted. Colbert & his scouting dept. needs to step up cause they can hit on offense but are wack as fukk picking on the other side of the ball.

This defense is a mess, might as well switch to a 4-3 at this point. Definitely need to fire butler & porter & get fresh blood in there.

Tomlin has an unrivaled playoff record, is a Superbowl winning coach, and is a top 10 coach. Every time drops games except the Patriots. Steelers shouldn't fire Tomlin because he loses 1-2 games. When all these garbage white HCs are fired with worse records, yall can ask Tomlin be fired.

No only did they onside kick but it hit a Steeler before going 10 yards putting them in FG range

OC is gone for sure. Ben has been shytting on him indirectly in statements to the media all year. Said the calls to not QB sneak on 4th and inches came from the coaches, which given the context is a shot at Haley.

It’s hard to gauge Porter’s success with the inside linebackers because Shazier was an all-pro and the rest of them are just a guy. He might be on the block as well but we will see.

Butler was supposed to come in and start playing heavy press man schemes but we haven’t seen that. If it’s a personnel issue then I’d be ok giving him one more year but the zone stuff needs to go.
