First? LOL I'm 30...yall goin laugh but

Shaq- Shaq Fu
Kriss Kross- Totally Crossed Out

but real for REAL rap which I got into about 93-94 (bout 9-10 years old) I'd say it was
Ready to Die by Notorious B.I.G...I swear I listened to that tape (yes tape) EVERY MORNING before school specifically "Everyday Struggle" (liked intro) "Gimmie The Loot" and "Unbelievable"

That was my first OWNED tape that had cuss words in it...Shortly after, it was Doggystyle

I still listen to BOTH those albums to this day (and recite the words lol)

man.. i know very few. I'm not good with lyrics or song titles. But probably The Great Adventures of Slick RIck.

Rick was always pretty easy to rap with and remember.

I remember listening to this on volume 2...especially on "A Gangsta's Fairytale" and "Get Off My dikk & Tell Yo' bytch to Come Here" .

If not, my mom would of threw that tape out just like she did my "Great Adventures of Slick Rick" shyt.

Illmatic was the first album i rehearsed from the intro to the end.

Chill, Chill, that's the shyt god. Even back then Nas respected wack rappers on the radio.
