What are some good first date ideas that arent corny? I googled some and i someone suggested playing scrabble at a coffee shop

Right now my go to's are
-Frozen yogurt
-Open mic night where they do spoken word and music. We also buy drinks there
-This big ass Ferris wheel in my city that overlooks downtown
-Basketball games (in season) bc i have the hookup on tickets.

Im ass out. I have a decent roster right now but they always ask "So what do you want to do?" Im just thinking to myselfbc ideally they would come to the crib, we'd have some drinks then fck. But they want to "go out" before coming over afterwards.


Im not a big hookah lounge or club person, but i will go clubbing if its a spot where people actually dance and i have the money to blow.

Side ratchets like going clubbing , but you could get away with rolling a blunt and buying a bottle of gin.

What's your end goal for the night?

Getting the drawls. Later on i wouldnt mind doing stuff that couples in committed relationships do.

I should have mentioned it but the end goal is to (at least in the beginning stages) do something where we can drink together then come back to the apartment and fck.

In a perfect world she'd come straight to my apartment, take some shots, and get that back blown outbut we gotta act "civilized" and put up a front

So these are not dates? You're only trying to fck them, not get to know them? Or that was your old idea of a first date?

I don't think a basketball game is a good first date unless you're going out to eat afterward. The other ones seem fine.

This reminds me of a thread on lsa. A lot of them were saying that the male is supposed to pick the first date, making up all of these crazy reasons why. "he's weak if he can't make a decision" "You'll be the one making all of the decisions in the relationship if he can't even pick the first date" "It shows he's lazy and doesn't care about you if he doesn't pick the first date" . Me and a few other girls on there said we would rather decide. One girl said that she loves it when she gets to pick the place. She said she has a list of places that she wants to try and just picks one off of there. That sounds like the best thing to do imo. Even if you don't like him after the date, at least you did something you wanted to try, and for free too. You win! lol
