Hip-Hop Artists Partner with Dating App to Create New Voting Anthem to Empower and Uplift a New Generation of Voters

BLK, the largest dating app for Black singles, is bringing the heat this Fall with a spicy collaboration between legendary female rapper Trina and rising rap superstar, Saucy Santana. BLK, who recently released an in-app Election Center, has teamed up with the Florida icons to create an audacious new voting anthem, No Voting No Vucking, to command a new generation of voters to shift the culture and make their voices heard. The new single and video will be released during National Voter Education Week on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

Young people are the next generation of voters and represent a major voting bloc in this country. And while Gen-Z turnout increased in 2020, BLK and When We All Vote want to ensure youth continue this momentum by bringing even more young people into the voting process. Just in time for the 2022 Midterm Elections, No Voting No Vucking aims to motivate young Black citizens to vote, by calling out that exercising your basic civic duty of voting is the biggest turn-on of all

Im gonna answer this truthfully:

That is fine. Also, encourage more folks to vote. The hope is that more people will get involved period. If enough people care about the process, in theory, people who care about social equity and other issues will find candidates they like and support them. Even if I dislike how you vote, next cycle you might say “shyt, I fukked that up” and we may actually come together politically. The first step is actually getting people in the process and recognizing what they are getting for their vote.

This is absolutely not hyperbole. Those people vote. If you ask them what they got out of trumps presidency I guarantee you a bunch of it will be symbolic or have nothing to directly do with the president. But they still voted him in. Folks who are on the dont vote wave seem yo think they are the only ones not getting what they want and opt out of the process. We are fukked if that idea stays.
