First look at live-action Stitch in Lilo & Stitch Remake

Theatre was packed. Great family film. My son's only complaint was Stitch didn't have his strap My daughter and I loved it. Cast was great especially Lilo, Nani and old woman from Next Friday. That theme song is stuck in my head now. 9/10

They nailed the remake @ least they didn’t turn it into some ba live action musical with elvis impersonators through whole thing

Saw it yesterday with my gf and her nieces. I've never seen a crowd of little kids cry out like they did at the ending, which Disney butchered. The entire point of the original film gets erased in the remake and kids did NOT appreciate that shyt. I heard kids yelling "nooo" or "Nani wouldn't do that" and I don't blame em. It's not a good movie.

The original has so much unique energy, looks amazing, and has such a strong story. This one is just...a grey mess with no life to it despite apparently shooting on location in Hawaii. It looks dead. The color grading of so much streaming slop today looks like sludge and that's the case here.

Thats disappointing. I heard they cut out the whole bounty hunting story also so you don’t really get those big action sequences

This was really good. Better than the animated film.

The little girl that played Lilo did a phenomenal job. Great actress with a bright future.

Initially I disliked the casting choice of Lilo’s sister (wasn’t thicc enough…) …but she did a great job at acting as well.

Tbh I think in the scope of itself Lilio & Stitch LA is enjoyable and heartwarming. It’s the first Disney live action remake where the setting had life to it. Now comparing it to the original and those changes. If you have the original deep in your heart, you will HATE this. Though I feel kids will love this. I still think that should be respected at the very least for those experiencing this series for the first time.

Compared to the original (and the sequels), it's a fukking abomination.
