honestly can't remember.

one of the first albums I bought (with my "own" money) was Puff's "No Way Out" but that was like a year or 2 after it dropped. so I'm not sure if that was even the first one

That's the exact color too, deadass.

My first real exposure to rap was riding with my cuz and youngest uncle. I got put on to a lot of dope shyt...2Pac, Master P, TRU, Three 6 Mafia, Playa Fly, Pastor Troy, early Cash Money, etc.

I even stole a few tapes outta that car lol.

A Mississippi Cotton Field
the first rap ALBUM I remember hearing in-

edit: nah, it was

allcdcovers_the_beastie_boys_lic-1.jpg

it was the first album I learned all the lyrics to, and I played that shyt RELIGIOUSLY. My sisters got the shyt off Colombia House and didn't listen to it.

I remember my aunt giving me the :scust: cause I was listening to "Girls" on the headphones at the Thanksgiving table and everybody could hear it.

Crispness

Came in to post this.

My big sister had it on vinyl, and used to play it all the time in her room.
I was a little dude (maybe 4 or 5), but I could already read...so I thought the name of the group
who made it was "Pro" because that's was on the record sticker. lol

First album I ever bought with my own money doe, was N.O.R.E.

When I first wanted to get into rap I remember digging thru my dad's old CD's and I pulled out Ironman, Life After Death, and Paul's Boutique
