Triple Six Mafia Body Parts pt2. That started my love of rap. Not the best song in the world, but as a kid it just opened my eyes to a whole other genre of music that wasn't watered down radio bullshyt.

Like any of you actually would remember that.

i think i worded the thread title kinda odd. 1st rap track(s) u remember and could identify by name... does that fit better?

the circumstance surrounding how we was introduced to it is different for everyone tho. if u cant remember, just name an early rap track from ur childhood that comes to mind, nbd

I can remember pretty easily. I didn't have any older siblings to put me on, lived in a small city in the middle of the country so didn't get to see older cousins or go to city record stores very often, no rap was getting played on TV here back in 90/91. So when Hammer hit and was big, along with Vanilla Ice that was the stuff I heard until my cousin put me up on Ice Cube etc, started buying my own Fu Schnicks CDs and all that.
