If Bernie had won the nomination, he'd have a couple Republicans endorsing (and many more voting for) him all the same. I know quite a few northeast Republicans who preferred Bernie over Hillary because of his honesty and would've voted for him over Trump in a general. Everyone looks more tastefully suited to the presidency when contrasted with Donald Trump, views on abortion and taxes be damned.

However I was using Bernie to illustrate that Republicans aren't lining up behind Hillary due to policy agreements, but rather to stop a madman from taking the White House. I was trying to counter the narrative that every endorsement from across the aisle further proves that Hillary is, in actuality, a Republican.

lol.... i don't understand that narrative.... people really think hillary is a republican because she's too cozy with republicans, but trump IS a republican, yet they see no problem supporting him.... it's like saying i don't trust tyrone because he's too cozy with white people, but i fully trust the white people he is cozy with...
