Should the NBA make this change?

If you want a more competitive series, simple answer:

make it a best of 5.

Flipping the home court advantage in a series where the better team doesn't even have it would make those fans PISSED.

It would make being the 5th seed the best seed possible.

Yup.

Best thing is go back to best of 5.

Atlanta To New Orleans
See, and Chuck just said the EXACT same thing I've been saying all over the Coliseum...

This is possibly the worst set of 1st round playoff series ever constructed. Like some of these teams are just beyond bad and have no chance at ALL. Yet folks want to create drama that isn't there. :snoop:

The NBA needs to get its shyt together and tell these owners to stop bytching about money and build better teams.

Just for the first round only, i think it would make these series a little more competitive and extend the series atleast an extra game and make more $$$$ for the league which is all stern cares about.

The higher seeded teams plays 4 home games but the first 2 should come on the road. It can go something like this

Game 1: Lower seed
Game 2: Lower seed
Game 3: Higher seed
Game 4: Higher seed
Game 5: Lower Seed
Game 6: Higher Seed
Game 7: Higher seed

Imagine Denver having to go play 2 in GS before coming back home, or the knicks going to boston garden at this time to play the celtics. Would make series a lot more interesting.

:ohhh:

What lower seed team do you root for? :deadrose:

Not as bad as having an NBA game on Nat TV every day,but still a terrible idea @Jplaya2023.

that's actually a great idea, considering the amount of sport outlets we have there's no reason why u can't have 1 NBA game on tv everyday

ESPN
ABC
TNT
TBS
ESPN2
ETC..ETC..

EXACTLY, giving the lower seeded team the first 2 at home would make the series more competitive
