First there was Jordan, then came Kobe, then came Lebron. Who and where is the 4th coming?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I see dudes talking about Dennis Smith... who looks exciting... but "The Next Big Thing" ain't gonna be 6'2. Smarten Up.

Word

This is another kid being labeled the next big thing -

6'6" with a very advanced skillset and he's gotten a lot more athletic in just a year.

Then there's Ivan Rabb in the 2015 class, thecoli loves players like this -

Rose's numbers look a lot worse when you realize that Lebron was playing with another high usage player in Wade while Rose was the absolute number one scoring option.

Lebron's 2nd year in the league was unquestionably better than Rose's_MVP season.

27.2 (46%) / 7.2 AST / 7.4 REB vs. 25 (44%) \ 7.7 AST / 4.1 REB

@CHICAGO, which one of those stat lines you taking? One of those is 2nd year Lebron, one is MVP Rose.

Rose has never...EVER....EVER been nearly as good as Lebron. They're not even on the same tier of ability.
This is just :dahell: .....

So what you're saying is Rose's numbers being identical to LeBron's look worse because he was the number one option on his team? :dahell: Even though that "number one option" you speak of LED his team to the best record in the NBA???? DA fukk?!

Then you gunna compare LeBron and Rose's stats in DIFFERENT YEARS like that had anything to do with this argument? :dahell: come harder with the stanning son

michael was given that type of nod out of hs.
he was even stiffed out of the mickey d's game, mvp award.

in college, after the death of len bias,...
mj was easily in that question in college.
could he be the best ever, and his development or better yet, his ascent in dean smith's kind of hide them till later minutes.
just cosigned that, you could have been watching the best ever.
only other player that gave me that feeling watching in college.
like i was watching a possible hof talent at guard was dwade at bradley.
with d rose, i wasn't particularly sold on d rose till he became a pro.
with d wade, i was like this dude is really scary to watch.
on the dribble drive, other than mj, you could not find a better guy in college with a game that would translate immediately to a pro.
i even had an older homie who was so crazy about both mj and later d wade.
he was like, you watching a guy in dwade.
that gives me that same thing i saw when i watched mj in college.
so, i paid attention, because this was a guy who saw mj in college, when he was a cognitive adult.
plus, saw joe montana, play as a freshie as a student at notre dame upperclassmen.

how kobe developed over time was a joy to watch.

kobe was just in a class of great hs basketball players.
i thought he was going to be the best, out of that class.
yet, he was in a class that included:

abdur raheim : who at the time was the best player, imo
garnett
ronnie fields : who if he would not have fukked up his shyt on fukkery. plus developed and got his scholastics in order. could have been at least oj mayo before oj mayo.

originally people made it like kobe was bugging to go straight from hs.
people used to clown the shyt outta me.
those first few years cause i rooted kobe on like no other, then.

U sure people were asking if "MJ could be the best ever?" when he was in college? how come he wasn't the 1st pick then?

Kobe wasn't in the same class as Abdul-Rahiem, KG, and Fields. He was with Mike Bibby, Tim Thomas, and Jermine O'neil.

Yeah? When you have two ball dominant players, both who play a very similar style of bashetball, their numbers tend to stop because their is only so much ball to go around. If you put Kobe and Jordan on the same team and they had similar usage rates, their numbers would be lower.

Thibs and their defense led them to the best record in the NBA. Rose was just the primary offensive option.

And I'm comparing Lebron as the clear cut number one offensive option to Rose as the clear cut number one option and Lebron's numbers from any year after his sophomore year still crap all over Rose.

Simply put, you put any version of Lebron instead of Rose on those Bulls teams, they become much better.

That Jordan era was different. Neither Kobe nor Lebron were ahead of their peers to the same extent as Jordan. We're in an era with many supremely talented players. Why not just enjoy watching them all play instead of forcefeeding stupid debates and creating stupid stan wars?
